TRIO Restaurant: Contemporary American Fare
Located in downtown Palm Springs, TRIO Restaurant offers modern digs, an energetic atmosphere and contemporary American fare. Partners Tony Marchese and Mark Van Laanen developed the concept for TRIO together, and it represents a lifelong dream to offer comfort food with a contemporary flare. TRIO Restaurant has made a name for itself when it comes to flavorful and creative cuisine. Visit TRIO Restaurant every day from 4-7 p.m. for happy hour and enjoy $3 well drinks and $5 martinis, mojitos or margaritas. During happy hour select from appetizers including fried artichoke hearts, calamari, sweet potato fries, hummus and an artisan cheese or olive plate.
A great option for the tightest of budgets, TRIO Restaurant offers an early bird special from 4-6 p.m. which includes a three-course dinner for $19 per person. The early bird special includes a choice of salad, entrée and dessert. Entrée options include Australian sea bass, roasted chicken, pot roast, sun dried tomato and goat cheese ravioli and rigatoni.
The menu features a variety of entrées including crawfish pot pie, seafood stew, roasted salmon, mac and cheese, butternut squash ravioli and burgers. The lamb shank is braised in burgundy wine, rosemary and garlic then served with white beans. Other house favorites include the ribeye steak, St. Louis style spare ribs and the porterhouse pork chop—brined and grilled with a tangerine-horseradish marmalade and sweet potato mash.
Save some room for something sweet! Select from cupcakes, fruit crisp, key lime tart, chocolate mousse and the TRIO Restaurant special—trio nut torte, made with hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, caramel and chocolate. Top off those sugary treats with a coffee, espresso or cappuccino drink.
