
Operating with a mission to promote, educate and involve the community in the visual arts, the Palm Springs Art Museum offers an expansive collection of fine art, rotating exhibits, performing arts programs and educational workshops. The Palm Springs Art Museum was established in 1938 with a small collection of art; today the museum features modern and contemporary paintings, drawings and sculptures from hundreds are artists. Some of the artists featured include Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Anthony Gormley and John Chamberlin.
Located in the museum’s Sidonia Milano Center, art workshops are offered for adults looking to improve their drawing, painting or sculpting skills or learn new ones. Each class covers a specific topic or method of art and is offered from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on weekdays or 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on weekends. Advanced registration is required and workshop pricing ranges from $100-$500.
In the Annenberg Theater, guests can enjoy live stage performances throughout the year with intimate seating and high-quality acoustics.
The Palm Springs Art Museum offers indoor and outdoor dining at the Muse Café, located on the lower level. The Café menu features a variety of salads, soups, sandwiches and dessert options. Also, guests can order specialty coffee drinks, beer, wine and other soft drinks at the Café.

Also, a variety of free hands-on activities, tours, live performances and films make Second Sunday a great event for the whole family.
